This is a landmark poster that is dedicated to the Avant Garde magazine from 60s. It was iconic for its own font and large, square dimensions.
I studied the 16 issues of the magazine and history behind the people who took part in creating it and wrote the essay that created a coherent history of the magazine. Many of the design decisions were also inspired by the magazine, like the dimensions that replicate its spread. I have used the iconic red colour and the magazines name to attract attention provide visual association of the audience with the magazine.
